Songwriter, singer and guitarist Barney Fawcett has been in the UK music scene for over three decades, fronting a diverse range of acts — from a touring rock band through Drum & Bass and digital crossover groups. Along the way he played festivals and sold out iconic London venues including The Troubadour in Earls Court and Bush Hall. In late 2019 he joined forces with Andy Stafford to form LeopardInTheShed, blending Barney's guitar work and songwriting with Andy's keyboards and string arrangements, with both sharing drum sequencing and percussion duties. The band are based between Kingsbridge and Totnes in South Devon.

The John Peel-endorsed indie band went on to appear on the BBC's legendary Top of the Pops, with global tours following alongside Billy Corgan, Kings of Leon and Stereophonics. After a few years away from music, a chance meeting with Barney at a haunted South Devon pub in 2019 was to prove fruitful. A dynamic and ambitious artistic partnership quickly blossomed, and work immediately began in Barney's recording studio at Flear Farm. Defined by shapeshifting mood, timeless melody and classic songwriting, LeopardInTheShed became much greater than the sum of its parts.
